Hello

My name is Sarah Asplund <3

            A.k.A Mrs. A

All of my students call me Mrs. A and I love it!

I'm a mom to 5 wild kids! I retired early from teaching elementary school and now I homeschool and teach enrichment classes for fun! Teaching for fun? What? Yes! For FUN!

Isn't that WILD? My 5 Favorite subjects to teach are: Language Arts - Geography - Life Science - Creative Art - and Health Science. I'm most experienced in teaching Language Arts and I'm wild about the idea of diving into all of these subjects and more with every student who walks through those classroom doors! There is a seat waiting just for you! Now That's WILD!

WELCOME TO THE WILD SIDE OF LEARNING!

We are so GLAD you're here!

We believe that learning is a child's natural state of existence.

Children are born passionately eager and enthusiastic about play. They are always naturally ready to learn! Engaging them in the learning process through various learning modalities including purposeful forms of play is how we discover and develop the most creative parts of ourselves.

This becomes the place inside of ourselves where we're not just able to learn well, but our imaginations are also being ignited. We start to see our passions for nature, art, or books become  awakened! It's from these enrichment experiences that we are able to discover our likes and our dislikes, our talents and our interests. This type of learning  leads us to a place where we are able to use the knowledge we've attained to not only engage in the world around us but also to thrive!

We Were Born To Create!

“I really love being human. But some days I really wish I could be fairy.” ~ Greta, age 4

For a child there is no division between playing and learning; between the things he or she does, ‘just for fun’ and things that are ‘educational.’ The child learns while living and any part of living that is enjoyable is also play.”
